Salary: £33,000 – £35,000 per annum

About Us

Are you a proactive, friendly, and outgoing individual looking to take ownership of your role and make a real impact? Calabash Mint is excited to invite applications for the position of Electrical Technician.

Join our team and play a key role in installing and maintaining our innovative range of electrical washroom products, including hand dryers, AIRsteril, and water management systems. Flexibility with hours is essential as start times will vary. Early starts may be necessary, and your days may be longer or shorter. A company van and mobile phone will be provided to support your work.

Why Calabash Mint?

Salary: £33,000 per annum + £2,000 bonus. OTE £35,000 per annum
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with flexible start times
No weekend work
Annual leave: 20 days plus bank holidays

Company vehicle incl. covered running costs, which you can take home to reduce travel time
Ongoing support from our operations team

Key Responsibilities

Install, Repair, Maintain: Handle a variety of electrical products to BS7671 Standards (18th Edition)
Communicate: Work closely with the Service Manager, Operations Team, and Customers
Independence and Teamwork: Operate both independently and as part of a dynamic team
Inventory Management: Take charge of your stock and inventory
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety protocols
Maintain Standards: Keep your company vehicle and uniform clean and presentable

Ideal Candidate

Experience: Electrical wiring, 1 year preferred
Qualifications: NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2, and City & Guilds 18th Edition
Bonus skills: City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing and plumbing knowledge are advantageous
Full UK Manual Driving Licence for at least 12 months, ideally with no points (any points will be subject to insurance confirmation)
Strong communication skills and a good safety record are essential
Enhanced DBS check clearance

A proactive attitude and the ability to use initiative
