Calabash Mint coir mats use resilient coconut fibres to create a hard-wearing entrance surface suited to high-footfall areas. The coarse texture helps scrape and wipe dirt, dust and debris from footwear, reducing the amount carried further into a building and helping entrance areas stay cleaner.
Coir fibres are naturally hygroscopic, meaning they attract and hold water molecules before gradually releasing moisture back into the surrounding atmosphere. Combined with the coarse surface, this makes coir a practical choice for entrance areas where both dirt and moisture need to be controlled.
Coir matting is made from high-quality coconut fibres with a thick vinyl backing to provide a stable and durable entrance surface. Standard, large and cut-to-size options are available, and coir can be fitted into existing mat wells or recessed entrance areas.
